Our trip to Disneyland this time started with a casual stroll down Main Street. My mom has a season pass and so she knows where to find the good stuff. Here's a picture of Jane trying to decide between a Winnie the Pooh and a Minnie Mouse. Don't worry, she got both. Thank you Gramsie!
After that we had a nice lunch, went on a bunch of fun rides and then stuffed ourselves with churros. Great fun! Although, the Finding Nemo ride was rather terrifying. I wouldn't recommend it for little ones. Both my kids were in tears by the end. We tried to cheer them up at the petting zoo but that's when it started to get hot. We bought the kids frozen lemonades and took them on the Winnie the Pooh ride but that was kind or weird and psychedelic at the Heffalump part. What's up with that? Everyone started to get grumpy and we decided to take a break. After a nice dinner in a wonderfully air-conditioned restaurant we wandered over to California Adventure. That's when we found this place.
I don't remember what it was called but it had something to do with the movie Bug's Life. The kids were thrilled with the chance to play in the water and get soaked. We started laughing and finally got out the camera. I guess we were having too much fun at first and then we were too hot and grumpy to take any other pictures. But I'm glad I got these. I even fell down trying to take one picture but it was totally worth the embarrassment. These are some seriously happy children.
The kids got so wet that my mom and I went to a nearby store to get them new clothes. (Very smart way to make more money on Disney's part.) Thanks Mom for the cute clothes! We went on some more rides and I found a new favorite, Toy Story Midway Mania. I'm not going to overanalyze the fact that you are shooting at things the whole and what that might say about me. It was just plain fun! The day was a success and everyone went home happy and tired with sore feet. What more can you ask for in a day at Disneyland?

Midway Mania is our favorite. I think Brad liked it the most of anyone, but we ALL had a blast!
My entire family loved, loved, loved the Toy Story ride... I think I even did pretty good! Glad you had fun!
