Ice Blocking?

Inspired by a youth activity our ward had, we went ice blocking with some friends the other day. Despite on and off rain showers, we had a fabulous time. As you can see in the picture below, Josh was not sure how he felt about sitting on a block of ice and scooting down a steep hill, even if his pal M. was taking him.

Josh did get a little braver going down the hill a couple of times sitting on Mom or Dad's lap. He also went down a few times by himself with Jason and I "spotting" him. But he and his pal L. were much happier just scooting down the hill on their bums.

Once it started to rain more, these two started hanging out in the car (and so did the camera). Josh probably didn't want to watch his dad going down the hill head first on his stomach or later trying to stand up and go down the the hill. I know I didn't want to watch. I kept having visions of a helpless husband in a body cast and wheelchair. How is he supposed to do my bidding in that condition?

I had no idea that Jason was such a dare devil! Although Josh has told me some pretty remarkable stories about Jason:) Glad you guys had fun! p.s. did you hear about Jamie's near death painting episode? The Peterson's are crazy I guess:)

Me, a dare devil? I must be getting "conservative" in my old age. I have trouble on the little kid rides at amusement parks. Megan and the kids just make me feel young again.
