Christmas Vacation - Part 1

We are starting to recover from our two-week, multi-family Christmas vacation extravaganza so it's time to blog about it. We started our trip with a 15 hour adventure to Kennewick, WA, in the eastern part of the state. Our first morning there, Grandpa John woke up bright and early (still on Moscow time I guess) and decided to win the heart of his grandson Joshua. He asked Josh if he wanted to go get some candy and look at some "big boy toys" at the John Deere tractor store. Josh took off upstairs without a word and Jason followed him to find him trying to put on his dirty clothes from the day before. We got him some clean clothes and off he went. Here are some pictures taken by Grandpa John, or as he prefers to be called, Uncle John. He says he's not old enough to be a grandpa and Josh came up with this name after being introduced to so many uncles. Jason has 4 brothers. Pretty soon everything was an uncle. Uncle Daddy, Uncle Mommy and Uncle Christmas Tree.

Here's Grandpa starting Josh's day off right. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

Josh is thinking, "This looks pretty cool."

"This is definitely cool!"

"What's this do?"

"This little one is nice but I think I would rather have one of the big ones."

Thanks John for giving Josh a fun morning and taking lots of pictures!"

So cute! I love Josh cleaning up in the candy aisle. I think your family should always call the tree Uncle Christmas Tree now haha.

I remember he loved the tractor when we were at the corn maze last year! Can't wait to see what he does!
