We're back! Did you miss us? We returned late Monday night after spending nine days in sunny southern California (although two of those days were spent experiencing the horrors of air travel in America. Look for a future ranting post on the subject).
Still, we had a great time. We loved relaxing poolside in my parents' gorgeous backyard, going to Disneyland (yes, blackmail works!), eating out, and most importantly visiting with family.
We live too far away from too many people we love too much! And that ridiculous sentence doesn't even begin to convey the ache. Those seven days were precious even if we occasionally got on each other's nerves (it's inevitable). We're counting the days until we see some of you in Cancun and others at Christmas. For everyone else, our calendar is open! All of our love!

Minus the airline problems, sounds like paradise!
As a recent Disneyworld convert I can appreciate it's importance as a vacation location. I am jealous about Cancun though.
As for the rest of your open calendar I'm thinking August 30 at our place for the opening game of the BYU season 6pm. We'll order the pizza and have cake. You guys in?
I totally enjoyed seeing all of you. Your kids are precious. I agree we live too far away from the people we love so very much. I also second the horrors of air travel. I am definitely not ready to travel by plane ANYWHERE SOON!
So glad you are back and so jealous you got to visit family. As much as I enjoy the east coast it is just way too far away from just about everyone! I am looking forward to your future posts, especially the one about airport woes! Love ya!
