It's been a busy day and I am physically, emotionally and mentally exhausted. The kids and I were running around in the car almost all day. Some eating in the car took place and as is often the case, I had to clean the whole vehicle out when we got home. This picture is not from today but it's typical of what the floor of the front passenger seat often looks like. Sometimes the kids and I use the floor mats as garbage cans. It's kind of a bad habit, especially when I forget to clean the car out at the end of the day. The next day... P-U! As a side note, I don't know why there are two perfectly good-looking chicken McNuggets on the floor in this picture. I would never disrespect the nugget in that way unless one of the kids did something to it. It's like the bag says, "Every bite is pure joy!" Unless you get one of those gristly pieces. You know what I'm talking about, that inedibly chewy piece that makes you lose your appetite for at least a week. Blech! And yet I keep going back to my beloved nuggets. That's true love for you.

You need a chick-fil-a nearby. No gristly bits and definitely no leftovers.
Oh Megan, you wicked, wicked girl! This has nothing to do with your totally understandable garbage car mats. No, I had just put something on the stove and new it would take just a minute to get warm enough to do anything. I decided to use it as a minute of joy and pulled up my list of blogs and thought, I haven't checked in on the Petersons for a while. So I begin reading and then reading and reading some more. Then somewhere around Jane and Josh's photo shoot on a cold Sunday Samuel says, "Uh, Mom, are you doing something over here?" Totally burned, I have to start all over.
You are too delightful.
