Jane's Birthday - The Cake

Here's Jane trying to blow out her candles. She didn't want to get much closer to the flames than this although she was fascinated by them as you can see. I love how her mouth makes that little "o" shape when she tries to blow. So cute!

This is me giving the Jason the "don't you dare take a picture of me in my pajamas while I'm stuffing my face with cake" look. Clearly I didn't look intimidating enough.

Here are the kids digging into their cake. I like this picture because Josh seems to have inherited the Stewart need to be reading something at all times while eating. Either that or he's imitating some other redheads he knows.

Here's Jane starting to really make a mess of things. She loves frosting and can pick a doughnut clean with remarkable speed. However, this is back in January when she was still in her frosting-removal training period. The pictures show what happened next, but I've added my own little commentary

"Hey, this is kind of messy."

"Great, now it's all over my hands."

"Could somebody help me please?"

"Ugh! I disgust myself."

*No cute outfits from Aunties were permanently ruined in the eating of this cake. Although they may have been traumatized.

Josh and I were just looking at these, and he said "Jane chocolate face again". These are great pictures.

Adorable! I'm wondering how did the outfit of the person who had to clean up Jane survived . . .

Maybe you should try Russian for a while. It will simulate the brain. This is the message that I get when the message is published.
