Happy Easter

We took this picture on Easter morning, just before church. Jason set the camera on a tripod, pushed the timer, then grabbed Josh who wanted to run around the yard free as a bird. I held Jane and tried to get her to smile while Jason and Josh dashed to sit by us before the camera took a picture. Needless to say the whole experience was a little ridiculous...and cold! I checked my weather station when we came back in the house and the temperature was 32.8 degrees. Yikes! Well at least we all look reasonably happy if not a little frozen. After this we went to church and got to enjoy the spiritual side of Easter. I hope everyone had a nice Easter. I love Easter. It is one of my favorite holidays. I love that it's Springtime. Everything is new and fresh (even if it's a little cold). The world is waking up after a long dark winter. At least it's that way where we live. Most importantly, I love the opportunity to remember and honor Jesus Christ. The hope and renewal of Springtime fit perfectly with the hope our Savior brings. I love Him and I love the chance to celebrate Him!

What a beautiful family! You must have been freezing with short sleeves on! I love Josh's smile. We miss your family.

What a cute family. It's always been hard for us to get a nice family picture.
