Viento

One cloudy day in Mexico, I decided to play with my ancient camera. I thought the different colors of the water in the pool and in the ocean looked interesting with the sky.

There was a cool bridge going over the division between two of the pools. The picture above is actually two infinity pools with the ocean in the distance. You can imagine what it was like to swim in these pools and look out at the ocean and sky.

There were also these pretty star lanterns hanging from the roof in the outdoor restaurant. The restaurant was called Viento which means wind in Spanish. We ate lunch at this restaurant several times because it had had yummy food and was right by the pool. In fact, you could eat lunch here and not even get out of the pool since there was a swim-up bar.

Here is some of the gang sitting at the swim-up bar and waiting for the food to arrive. (I hope I don't get in trouble for posting this picture. I'll remove this picture if any of you feel squeamish about it.)

I just really loved sitting and eating with family, while looking out at the ocean and feeling the sea breezes as they wafted in. I mean, how often is that going to happen in my life?

I added you to my blog too! You have such a beautiful family! Have you talked to Sarah much? I have totally lost touch and have no way of getting a hold of her!
